Summary

“Stiftung Industrieforschung” supports young researchers who scientifically devote themselves to crucial research questions concerning medium-sized industrial enterprises. In this manner, the foundation wants to make a contribution to the stimulation of new cooperative research between science and middle class enterprises and to intensify existing collaborations. Thematically, the foundation supports scientific-technical and economic research approaches. By virtue of its statute, the foundation can only support those research initiatives which are oriented towards German medium-sized enterprises. The foundation bestows scholarships and prizes for academic papers. Furthermore, the foundation also supports events which serve the exchange between science and industry.
